Clinical Supervision
I completed my Supervision training at The Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy in January 2015. I have completed further training in Group Supervision and hold a certificate in LGBTQ+ informed Supervision.
I offer Supervision for both qualified and student Counsellors & Psychotherapists. I supervise therapists working with individuals, couples, and groups.
I have extensive experience providing individual and group supervision in a number of different settings, including:
Supervision for qualified Counsellors and Psychotherapists in private practice.
Individual Supervision for trainees on a variety of training courses and clinical placements.
Individual Supervision for practitioners working within the NHS.
Individual & Group Supervision within Drug & Alcohol Services.
Group Supervision within Eating Disorder Services.
Supervision is not only for exploring client work but also support for the practitioners well-being.
Areas you may wish to explore:
• Vicarious trauma, burnout & compassion fatigue - including ways to help prevent this.
• Building your therapy practice.
• Imposter syndrome & self doubt.
A large part of my work is working with Couples, Relationships and Sex Issues. I am consistently in ongoing training in this area, therefore I also supervise many therapists who work with couples & relationships.
